Weeley

Weeley is most famous for its 1971 Rock festival, which attracted about 100,000 music fans to the town. If in need of some refreshment visit the Beehive Inn which is believed to have been built during the 1800’s. The Beehive stands in what used to be a drovers road. Drover’s roads were unmade and bordered by either high banks or hedges to keep their livestock from straying thus making the lives of the drovers easier.
