Kirby Cross is on the branch between Thorpe-le-Soken and Walton-on-the-Naze.
The station boasts an hourly service to London, via a change at Thorpe Le Soken, 363 days in the year and is adopted by Tim Ward, who lives nearby.
The station has an improved appearance since the down platform garden has been tended and palnted. The support of Parkers at their local nursery and garden centre was much appreciated by all concerned.
The environment of the station is also better for new seats and passenger information screens.
